Even if it's out of your way, come here and eat. You won't be disappointed! Our airbnb host told us to go here for lunch. She recommended a taco. I expected two small tacos. I was in for a surprise. One large amazing taco. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and not dry! We also ordered a side of fries. My favorite kind of fries. We also got our food within the time we were told it be out. We sat at the picnic tables and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.
By far one of the best places my husband and I have gone to eat on this island! Husband got a smash burger and it was to die for! I got the original chicken sandwich and it was incredible! The chicken had such a great crunch to it and the fries that came with were perfect! Slightly salty and a few crispy ones! So happy with the service and the environment was super cute and relaxing. Price was perfect for the amount of food. Highly recommend!
So glad we found this spot. My partner and I agreed this was the best chicken sandwich we’ve ever had - super flavorful, balanced, and cooked perfectly. Fries and Mozzarella Sticks were also incredible. All the ingredients were so fresh and their signature sauce was delicious. This place deserves a whole restaurant front but if you’re in the area definitely swing by this cute little camper. Staff was super nice and helpful as we asked about a road closure in the area - the girl ran out to our car as we were pulling out to give us an update after she asked her boss for more info. Will definitely be coming back and want to try their burger patties next!
The best Smash Burger I've ever had and really great fries ! After a morning hiking, it was just what we needed. The Cook even brought our pup a piece of hotdog !! Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't be disappointed Friendly Folks and mighty good food !!
An awesome little spot on Mt. Desert Island. Found after wanting to get away from the crowds after hiking in Acadia. Delicious, freshly made smash burgers and fries, friendly service, and super cool trailer. Glad to have found them and stopped by!
Was down around Bass Harbor and didn’t want to make the trip into busy Bar Harbor for a bite and was so lucky to find this around the area! Even if I wasn’t in the area, the trip down is well worth it for the food. I got 2 of the Chili Cheese smash burgers (27 and some change total!) for my mom and I—a tasty balance of ingredients, all working in harmony and none overwhelming the others. It’s in a lot with tons of cute outdoor seating. It started raining while we were in the middle of ordering and she even offered to take the food out to our car for us! Thankfully the weather cleared up and we were able to sit outside to eat though. Cannot recommend this place enough.
We ordered from here tonight, and it was absolutely perfection! We tried the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and the Pickleback Burger, paired with coleslaw and fries, and everything exceeded our expectations. It’s definitely worth the trip to Bernard for a meal like this! The convenience of online ordering is a major bonus, especially since we wanted takeout to enjoy at home. Highly recommend!
Such a good spot. Our burgers were delicious (loved that there are gf&veggie options) and made with care. The fries were out of this world some of the best we ever had. The service was super friendly, a bit slow but worth it for the quality. Drinks could use some diversity but overall a great spot would definitely recommend. Cute outdoor seating.
